CITYCAR is a single-seater vehicle that offers the safety of a car and the compactness of a motorcycle. It is designed for commuting and solo travel, which accounts for nearly 80% of all trips.
About Us
CITYCAR is a hybrid in two senses. Firstly it’s a single-seater four-wheeled motorcycle with a cabin that elegantly tilts in turns, combining the agility of a motorcycle with the safety features of a car. Secondly, it uses a powerful electric motor for traction but also has a small gas engine used to produce electrical energy.

EV Components & Batteries
Citycar uses a hybrid powertrain. At low speeds and for short distances, the electric motors are powered by the battery. For higher speeds and longer trips, an onboard generator is activated to produce electricity. This significantly reduces the required battery size, lowers weight and cost, and decreases dependency on lithium and other scarce battery components.
Energy Storage & Management
Citycar features an intelligent energy management system that dynamically balances power usage between the battery and generator depending on driving conditions. This reduces deep discharge cycles, extending battery life. Thanks to the integrated generator, the need for large-scale energy storage is minimized, resulting in a more compact, efficient, and cost-effective system.
