About Us

TransitMapp is GL Transit’s real-time traffic control and operational intelligence platform, designed to give transportation authorities and operators a live, unified view of what is actually happening across the public transport network.

At its core, TransitMapp combines real-time vehicle data, routing logic, and operational analytics to monitor delays, deviations, bunching, slowdowns, and service reliability. The system continuously compares live GPS data against planned GTFS schedules to detect anomalies and generate actionable insights for control room teams.

What differentiates TransitMapp is its ability to integrate dynamic operational changes directly into its routing and calculation engine. Temporary route changes, emergency detours, and event-based disruptions can be incorporated into the real-time system so that performance metrics reflect the current operational reality rather than outdated schedules

Displayed on large control room screens, TransitMapp enables traffic controllers to visualize events geographically, assess their network-wide impact, and respond quickly with data-driven decisions. With human-in-the-loop validation, AI-enhanced processing, and GIS-based mapping, the platform creates a single operational truth for mission-critical public transportation management.

TransitMapp transforms raw transit data into situational awareness — helping cities maintain order, reliability, and passenger clarity even during unexpected disruptions.

Relevant Challenges

Automated Systems

At GL Transit, we digitalize mobility by transforming fragmented, real-world transportation activity into structured, intelligent, and actionable data. Public transportation systems traditionally rely on static schedules, manual reporting, and reactive decision-making. We bridge the gap between planned service and operational reality by ingesting live vehicle data, route updates, traffic events, and operational alerts — and converting them into real-time, geographically structured intelligence. Our platforms integrate GPS streams, GTFS data, AI-based text interpretation, GIS layers, and operational logic into a unified digital control layer. This enables transportation authorities and operators to: Detect delays, deviations, bunching, and slowdowns in real time Convert unexpected route changes into structured geographic data Replace static schedules with dynamic routing intelligence Create a single operational truth across control rooms and field teams By embedding AI and real-time analytics into mission-critical systems, we allow cities to move from manual, text-based reporting to automated, map-based, data-driven management. Digital mobility is not just about tracking vehicles. It is about creating adaptive, intelligent transportation networks that respond instantly to real-world conditions. That is how GL Transit turns physical movement into digital clarity.

Traffic Optimization

At GL Transit, we approach traffic optimization as a data-driven, real-time orchestration challenge. Urban mobility networks are dynamic systems influenced by congestion, signal timing, road works, incidents, public transportation priority, and unexpected disruptions. Traditional optimization methods rely on static planning assumptions and delayed analysis. We replace this with continuous, live operational intelligence. By integrating real-time vehicle data, route performance metrics, traffic event feeds, GIS layers, and predictive analytics, we create a digital representation of network behavior as it unfolds. Our systems detect bottlenecks, abnormal slowdowns, service instability, and systemic inefficiencies — not after the fact, but as they happen. This enables transportation authorities and traffic control centers to: Identify congestion patterns and their root causes Optimize routing decisions dynamically Adjust operational priorities in real time Improve flow reliability across both public and mixed traffic networks Reduce delay propagation during incidents Through AI-enhanced analysis and real-time mapping, we transform traffic management from reactive control to proactive optimization. Traffic optimization, for us, is not just about moving vehicles faster. It is about improving network stability, predictability, and efficiency at scale — ensuring that cities function smoothly even under pressure.

Route Optimization

At GL Transit, route optimization is about designing and continuously refining transit paths to match real-world demand and operational conditions. Traditional route planning relies heavily on historical data and static assumptions. However, urban mobility patterns shift constantly due to population growth, infrastructure changes, traffic conditions, and evolving passenger behavior. We bring dynamic intelligence into the route optimization process. By combining long-term GPS archives, passenger flow data, service performance metrics, real-time operational insights, and AI-driven analysis, we identify inefficiencies in route structure, stop placement, frequency distribution, and corridor coverage. Our models detect underperforming segments, overlapping services, instability patterns, and areas of unmet demand. This enables transportation authorities and operators to: Redesign routes based on actual movement patterns Optimize stop spacing and alignment Improve travel time reliability and reduce unnecessary detours Balance coverage with efficiency Simulate and evaluate alternative network configurations before implementation Through predictive modeling and scenario simulation, we support evidence-based decision-making that aligns planning strategy with operational reality. Route optimization, for us, is not just about shortening paths. It is about building smarter, more resilient transit networks that deliver better service with the same — or fewer — resources.
