About Us
Lidwave develops the next generation of LiDARs – High resolution, long range, affordable 4D LiDAR. With all the optical elements fully integrated on a single chip, this coherent light LiDAR offers affordable price, easy scalability and high durability. The patented FCR – finite coherent ranging – technology offers accurate velocity information per pixel per frame, for improved segmentation and better time-to-colision data, and total immunity to interference (glare, other LiDARs or spoofing).
The first commercial product based on the FCR (TM) technology is the Odem sensor – a versatile, software defined, long range LiDAR. The Odem sensor suits many use cases thangs to a range of over 300m, a max resolution of 0.02X0.02 degrees and field of view of up to 100X40 degrees for a max pixel count of 4.88 million pixels per second (Resolution, field of view and frame rate can be changed by software, without changing anything in the hardware). With compact dimensions (13X11X5.5 cm) and price point much lower than comparable LiDAR systems, the Odem sensor is staged to revolutionize the world of autonomous machines and smart infrastructure.
