About Us
PulseCharge Tech is an Israeli deep-tech startup developing a patented high-voltage pulsed charging technology for lithium-ion batteries.
Our solution enables 4–5× faster charging with minimal temperature rise (<12°C) and no battery degradation, while remaining fully compatible with existing lithium-ion chemistries and battery designs.
Unlike conventional fast charging methods that rely on high continuous current and cause overheating and accelerated aging, PulseCharge uses nanosecond-scale high-voltage pulses with low average current. This approach activates internal charge diffusion processes inside the battery, significantly reducing thermal stress while maintaining ultra-fast charge rates.
The technology has been independently validated at Bar-Ilan University under the supervision of Prof. Doron Aurbach, one of the world’s leading battery scientists. Lab tests on standard 18650 cells demonstrated full charging in ~15 minutes with no observable degradation over repeated cycles.
PulseCharge targets applications in EV charging infrastructure, energy storage systems, robotics, power tools, and e-mobility, offering OEMs and infrastructure providers a scalable fast-charging solution without the need for new battery chemistries or cooling systems.
