SolCold is a cleantech company specializing in passive cooling coatings for outdoor applications. The company manufactures a range of advanced cooling products designed for rooftops, external walls, and textiles.
SolCold’s cooling material is a multi-layered system, with each layer engineered to perform a specific function. The product leverages photonic cooling to reduce surface temperatures by at least 5°C below ambient. Its performance is driven by two key physical phenomena—anti-Stokes cooling and radiative cooling. By reflecting at least 98.5% of incoming solar radiation, the material delivers an exceptionally efficient and uniquely market-leading cooling solution.

Urban Spaces
SolCold material consistently cools surfaces by at least 5°C below ambient temperature. It also boosts the COP of rooftop HVAC units and reduces CO₂ emissions—by a minimum of 12,000 tons per building. By lowering blackbody radiation and helping to mitigate the urban heat island effect, it supports a more comfortable, energy-efficient, and sustainable urban environment.
