Vizible Zone
Viziblezone turns smartphones into a real-time D2D situational awareness network that predicts risk, sees vulnerable road users behind obstacles, and warns vehicles and infrastructure without cellular.

About Us
Vizible Zone is a situational awareness technology that turns smartphones into a real time, device-to-device safety network. It uses the phone’s built-in sensors to understand motion and context, then applies behavior prediction to anticipate risk before an incident happens. When danger is likely, Vizible Zone shares compact alerts directly between nearby devices and with vehicles or local infrastructure, so warnings can work even where cellular coverage is poor or unavailable.
Unlike camera-only or line-of-sight systems, the goal is to provide awareness beyond what a driver or a single sensor can “see,” including scenarios where vulnerable road users are hidden behind obstacles or emerge suddenly. The system is designed to operate across visibility and weather conditions because it does not depend on clear optics to function.
Vizible Zone can be delivered as software: an SDK that partners can embed into their apps or platforms, and in some cases, integrated deeper at the device or firmware level for tighter performance. Core use cases include automotive collision avoidance, smart city safety, and high-risk industrial environments like ports, where real-time, privacy-minded, ad hoc D2D coordination can reduce incidents and improve response time.
Relevant Challenges
Autonomous Systems
VZ adds a cooperative safety layer: it feeds “hidden VRU” and intent risk signals from smartphones into autonomy stacks as an extra input beyond camera radar lidar
Network Infrastructure
VZ is designed to work with minimal dependency on infrastructure: it can operate phone to phone locally, and when available it can also plug into RSUs, edge gateways, and cloud to extend range, manage updates, and aggregate anonymized safety insights.
Data Privacy & Protection
VZ can minimize data by using on-device processing and sharing only compact, non-identifying risk events (what where when confidence) instead of raw sensor streams or personal identity
Network Security
VZ can secure device-to-device messages with strong authentication, replay protection, integrity checks, and key rotation, plus anomaly detection to flag spoofing or flooding attempts.
Urban Spaces
VZ turns cities into ad hoc safety networks: pedestrians, cyclists, scooters, and vehicles become nodes that create intersection-level hazard awareness, especially for occlusions and blind spots.
Disaster and Incident Response Systems
When infrastructure is degraded, VZ can keep local coordination alive through direct device links: proximity alerts, responder-to-civilian signaling, and temporary geo-fenced hazar. VZ can also help locate survivors under rubble by detecting nearby smartphones and sharing last known proximity signals, and it can enable direct-mode push to talk for local responder and civilian communication when networks are down.
